Reporting a mistake
This is the message we most want to receive. A reference site that will not be corrected is not a reference site.
The most useful report gives us the address of the page, the sentence that is wrong, and — if you have one — a source we can check. “The shuttle from King Shaka is R290 now, here is the operator’s fare page” lets us fix something in ten minutes. We will correct it and, where the error could have affected a decision you were making, say on the page what changed. Our editorial policy sets out how we handle corrections.
Suggesting something we should cover
Twenty-two South African airports have scheduled flights and we are working through them. If there is one you need that we have not reached, or a question about an airport we have covered that the page does not answer, tell us. Questions from readers are the best guide we have to what is actually missing.
Press, data and reuse
If you want to quote our compiled passenger tables, cite research from the site, or ask about republishing something, write to the same address and say what you need. We will usually say yes, and we will tell you exactly which source document a figure came from so you can verify it yourself.
What we cannot help with
We are not an airport, an airline or a travel agency, and we have no access to anybody’s booking systems. We cannot change, cancel or check a flight, trace lost baggage, answer a visa application, or contact an airport on your behalf. For any of those you need the airline, the airport or the relevant department directly, and we are sorry to send you away — but sending you to the right place is more use than a sympathetic reply from the wrong one.
Advertising and commercial approaches
We do not publish sponsored articles, paid links, guest posts or product placements, and we do not accept free travel in exchange for coverage. Please do not send a rate card; the answer will not change. Display advertising on the site is handled entirely through Google AdSense.
Privacy
If you write to us, we keep your message and address only for as long as it takes to deal with it. We do not add you to anything, because there is nothing to add you to. See the privacy policy.
